Our selected sardines are caught in the North Aegean Sea near Mount Athos and are processed while fresh. The sardine of this region is renowned for its excellent flavor, due to the salt density of the water and the rich depths of this crystal water sea, where the fish lives. Sardines are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce ‘bad’ cholesterol in the blood, being one of the healthiest fish you can eat. Combined with wonderful organic olive oil, it provides us with a treat of a taste with a smack of the sea!
